This story began in January 2021, when Michele was told that a cat had passed away while giving birth to 5 adorable little kittens. At the time, her first cat, Alfredo, had also passed away from a disease caused by the FeLV virus, leaving the family devastated and heartbroken due to his unexpected departure.

So, Michele and her family decided to help by adopting one of the kittens, knowing that she could bring a lot of happiness to their days. In fact, it was Amora, this adorable little kitten who was just 20 days old, who ended up picking the family as her own. The initial days were a bit tough, because Amora was a young kitten and needed a whole lot of care. There were some sleepless nights with her meowing because she felt cold, hungry, or simply didn’t want to be left alone.

As time went by, Amora grew up and became an active and playful cat who loves climbing on the roof and running around like a little elephant, opening the kitchen door, and waking up the whole family. Despite all that, she is a sweetheart.
